Abuja- Kaduna Train Service Generate N5M Revenue in 2 weeks

After third week of operation since the launch of the Abuja-kaduna train service, the train service generate a profit N5million, in the first week the train service made N2.2million and N2.9million in the second week.

The Acting Managing Director of Nigerian Railway Corporation(NRC) Mr Fidel Ikhiria, has said that they had almost 5,000 passengers in six days. We have capacity for 320 passengers per trip and 1000 maximum number of passenger for a day for now he said.

The Abuja Kaduna train service was inagurated on july 26 by president Mohammadu Buhari to aid fast movement of people from Abuja to Kaduna at affordable amount.
