Kaduna Electric Invites Application From Meter Asset Providers (MAP)

Kaduna Electric is the operator of Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company. It is one of the 18 successor companies created following the unbundling and subsequent privatization of the defunct Power Holding Company of Nigeria Plc. Kaduna Electric is one of the 11 downstream operators in the Nigerian Electricity market. It is responsible for retail distribution and marketing of electricity in Kaduna, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States.

In compliance with the NERC Meter Asset Provider (MAP) Regulation 2018, Kaduna Electric hereby requests for submissions from qualified companies who intend to engage in the provision E of MAP for the company. The company intends to engage competent and reliable prospective MAPs with verifiable record of performance and experience, who are registered with NERC to bid as Meter AssProviders.
